Is Steven Hall your favourite?
Cumbrian dancer Steven Hall has reached the final of tonight’s live Britain’s Got Talent final.
He is now in with a real chance of winning £100,000 prize money and the opportunity of performing for The Queen at this year’s Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium.
Viewers saw Steven, a comedy dancer, though to the live shows after Amanda Holden, David Hasselhoff and Michael McIntyre whittled down hundreds of hopefuls to just 40 tonight.
The stunned telecommunications engineer will perform again in front of millions on ITV1.
He will go head to head with 10 other acts to try and secure one of the biggest prizes in reality television.
Steven, who now lives in Kendal, wowed the judges and gained a legion of fans after his quirky dance montage was broadcast to millions on April 16.
After learning of his fate, he told presenters Ant and Dec he would celebrate with a glass of sherry!
Michael McIntyre is your fave 'BGT' judge
Michael McIntyre is your fave 'BGT' judge
Michael McIntyre received all the plaudits from the newspapers when he first appeared on the Britain's Got Talent judging panel three weeks ago.
And the results to last week's poll reveal that Reality Bites readers agree unanimously with the media verdict.
We asked you last week who your favourite judge has been so far, and after voting in your thousands, a whopping 67.4% chose Mr McIntyre, with fellow newcomer David Hasselhoff only mustering a measly 13.4%.
Amanda Holden didn't do much better than The Hoff with 19.1%, as it seems that you're not convinced by her added sense of authority on the panel - the ideal replacement for Simon Cowell, you think not.
But have your feelings changed recently? What did you think of Louis Walsh on Saturday - could he add more spice to the table on a permanent basis?
Gay and Alan
Aeolian Chimes are husband and wife hand bell ringers, Gay and Alan.
They first delighted us with their beautiful rendition of Celine Dion’s ‘My Heart will Go On’ at the Britain’s Got Talent audtions in 2011.
In their semi-final performance Gay and Alan narrowly missed out on a place in the top two, and impressed viewers and judges yet again, this time with a bell ringing musical medley of songs from Phantom of the Opera.
The couple have found their joint interest has helped their love. Gay explained, ‘I think that to have an instrument we can play together is great and for a relationship to last it’s great to have a shared interest.’ She even played hand bells as she walked down the aisle on her and Alan’s wedding day!
It is the sheer love and passion when they played their hand bells that captured the audience in a sing along. With support from the audience and the judges they were put through to the next round to continue to delight us with their performances.
Gay and Alan are available for bookings and events to entertain your guests with their unique and beautiful bell ringing performances!
